Kindergarten Children visit the Fire Brigade
The children of our nursery group, “The Incredibles” visited the professional fire brigade today on Pasewalker Street in Pankow. As the children have always been amazed by the flashing blue lights on emergency vehicles that travel past our Kindergarten, we decided that a trip to the fire station would be a good idea. It was a very exciting trip, because we were allowed to climb into a fire engine, a rotating ladder and a rescue vehicle, and ask lots of questions about the everyday life of professional firefighters. During our visit there was even a real emergency call! The emergency vehicles then set off with their blue lights and sirens on, which we found very exciting. Now we know a lot more about the important work of the firefighters.
