We’re hiring: School Office Professionel

We are looking for a motivated and experienced office specialist to join our office team in the administration and school office.

We are offering a part-time position for 20 hours per week. Working hours start at 7:45 or 8:00 am.

Your Tasks

  • General office tasks (e.g. reception services, in person at reception and by telephone, correspondence, incoming mail, filing)
  • Administrative activities in the school sector (e.g. attendance, student files, student forms, student database, school intranet)
  • Communication with parents, children, employees (German/English), authorities (German) and external partners (mainly German)
  • Annual or ongoing tuition fee calculation and accounts receivable management
  • Supporting activities for our school leadership team
  • Support in the organisation and preparation of school festivals and other school events

After you have been trained in our office, school and administrative procedures and processes, you will be assigned your own areas of responsibility. Our school life regularly offers new projects that can be taken on in addition to the recurring tasks and are distributed within the office team according to competencies and interests. Thus, the job remains varied and challenging.

Your Profile

Have you completed training as an office administrator or training as a foreign language secretary? In addition, you have a solid background in both office and administrative activities as well as in customer contact, with MS Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook) and MS Teams? You are very familiar and open to new digital application programs?
You have native level language skills in German or English and good language skills in the other language? You also have organizational talent, team spirit, commitment, communication skills, willingness to learn, flexibility and independence?
