Finally, another Platanus charity run in the Schlosspark!

Spendenlauf

After more than 2 years, our Platanus charity run finally took place again. Our students were very happy and excited, especially the students of our first, second and third grades tried hard to run as many laps as possible. For them it was the first charity run, as we unfortunately had to take such a long break due to Corona.

In bright sunshine, a blue wave of Platanus swept across the spring-green Pankow Schlosspark. All the students, many colleagues and even some parents ran laps and it was a great atmosphere. We were even approached by strangers walking through the park and asked what a great event it was.

Afterwards, muesli power bars were served for the children as well as sparkling wine & coffee to the parents in the school playground. We were happy to get together again, to share thoughts, to spend time together and are now even more looking forward to further school events, which hopefully will take place regularly again to have more exchange within our school community.

Many thanks to our parents’ association ‘Platanus & Friends’ and our team for the organisation as well as to all parents, relatives, friends and other sponsors for their donations. With the donations we received, we will once again be able to realise great new projects and upcoming school events.
