Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2022

Dear children, parents and colleagues,

Today is already our last day of school and we would like to say goodbye in this way. The year 2021 is drawing to a close and hopefully we can all find some peace and quiet to celebrate and enjoy the coming Christmas days with our loved ones.

This year Corona has continued to keep us busy. Illness, quarantine orders, restrictions, as well as cancelled events have challenged us in both our school and personal lives. Nevertheless, we are very happy that despite a massive increase in the number of infections, we have managed to get through the last few weeks quite well and have at least been spared whole class or even school closures.

We would like to thank all parents for their prudence in leaving children at home immediately if there were Corona infections or suspected cases in the immediate vicinity, as well as for the quick and effective communication. We continue to be grateful for your feedback regarding the organization of our school life in Corona times and your feedback on other important issues. We always appreciate positive feedback and take it seriously should there be any constructive criticism.

Dear students of Platanus Schule Berlin, you were great again this year. We wish you all visitations from Santa Claus, wonderful holidays and a good rest from the exertions of school life. Hopefully you know that we are always proud of you.

We do not fully dare to look ahead, but we await the new year 2022 full of anticipation, confidence and hope. We wish everyone a wonderful Christmas season & a happy new year and look forward to seeing you in 2022.
