VDP Rally for Fair School Funding, in front of the Berlin House of Representatives

The Association of Private Schools in Berlin and Brandenburg (VDP) calls on all educators, parents, students, and supporters of independent schools to stand up for justice and fair funding!

What’s at stake?
Independent schools are still structurally underfunded and face significant disadvantages compared to public schools – even though they fulfill the same educational mandate. This inequality affects the quality of education, planning security, and long-term development opportunities of private institutions.

Under the motto “Equal Education – Equal Funding!”, we are demanding:
✅ A fair financial framework for all schools
✅ An end to the discrimination against independent schools
✅ Reliable support for schools that give families real educational choices
