{"id":15276,"date":"2018-06-06T14:46:57","date_gmt":"2018-06-06T12:46:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.platanus-schule.de\/?p=15276"},"modified":"2026-04-30T19:06:47","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T17:06:47","slug":"jonas-luehmann","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.platanus-schule.de\/en\/jonas-luehmann\/","title":{"rendered":"Jonas L\u00fchmann"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Head of School Co-Curricular Enrichment Program \u2013 Years 1 to 13<\/em><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Jonas L\u00fchmann is responsible for the students in Years 1 to 13 and guides the educational, pedagogical and administrative work of the Erzieher*innen and the club leaders during school time and during the holidays.<\/p>\n<p>After finishing his Abitur and Zivildienst, Mr. L\u00fchmann, who is originally from a small village near Hamburg, studied Educational Science (Bildungswissenschaft) in Magdeburg, Savannah and Hamburg.<br \/>\nIn addition to the university\u2019s curricular focus on media education and adult education, he was particularly interested in the theoretical consideration and practical implementation of pedagogy in everyday school life.<br \/>\nHis interest in education in the learning environment and social space of schools, is reflected in his own research for his final thesis and subsequent career choice.<br \/>\nIn recent years, Mr L\u00fchmann has worked enthusiastically at Berlin primary schools in Neuk\u00f6lln and Sch\u00f6neberg as a team leader in all-day care, as well as several years in the USA as an after-school teacher at the German International School, Boston.<br \/>\nIn all of these schools, he particularly appreciated the productive collaboration between the multi-professional staff and a lively, international school community.
