Last week, eleven of our students from Grades 10 and 11 received their Duke of Edinburgh\u2019s International Bronze Award<\/strong> certificates in a special ceremony at the Rotes Rathaus (Red Town Hall)<\/strong>. The event took place under the patronage of the Governing Mayor of Berlin<\/strong> and was hosted by His Excellency Andrew Mitchell, CMG<\/strong>, the British Ambassador to Germany, and Christina Henke<\/strong>, State Secretary.<\/p>\n The Duke of Edinburgh\u2019s International Award is a globally recognized youth development programme that encourages young people to challenge themselves, discover new interests, and develop essential life skills. Through volunteering, physical activities, skill-building, and adventurous expeditions, participants learn perseverance, teamwork, and social responsibility \u2014 qualities that help them grow both personally and academically.<\/p>\n We are extremely proud of our students for their commitment, determination, and enthusiasm throughout this journey. Some of them are already continuing their adventure by working toward the Silver Award<\/strong>, and we wish them every success as they take on the next level of this inspiring programme.<\/p>\n Our heartfelt thanks go to our dedicated Duke of Edinburgh team \u2014 Ms. Kappes, Dr. Bachorz, Mr. Daley, Mr. Kaminski, and Ms. McBane<\/strong> \u2014 for their continuous support, encouragement, and exceptional guidance.
