We are MINT-friendly School in Berlin!

Hurray, we made it and our application for the “MINT-freundliche Schule” (Mathematics/IT/Natural Sciences/Technology) signet was successful!

We have been officially honoured by the nationwide initiative “MINT-Zukunft schaffen” and yesterday the virtual award ceremony for all prize-winning schools in Germany took place. Ms. Kappes attended as our main contact person for the entire MINT department.

We are very pleased about this certification and especially delighted that the two independent reviewers awarded us the highest possible score in 13 of 14 key areas to be evaluated.

How do we benefit from the award?

1. Profile development in the mathematical and scientific subjects
2. Stronger networking with partner companies and MINT ambassadors
3. Strengthening of MINT subjects
4. To present the school’s offers regionally and nationally
5. Recognition for work done in the MINT area
6. Participation in the MINTMAX programme, the partner programme for “MINT-friendly schools

We are proud of this success and are happy to pass on our passion for these forward-looking and important school subjects to the students* of our school.
