Well Done! Happy Summer Holidays!

The last days before the summer holidays are always a very special time for us. Therefore we’d like to share it.

On Tuesday, the unforgettable and wonderful farewell party of the 6th grade took place, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the Mensa. Moving speeches were given by the children, parents and our team. There was a great Power Point presentation of the children, which showed 5 baby photos of each student and personal highlights from their time in primary school. The children played their teachers and Erzieher in a small skit and satirized them in a very cheeky way. It was a very nice party and a great farewell to primary school.

Yesterday, on the last day of school, all the children received their report cards, in addition to Well Done Certificates which are awarded to an entire class in the schoolyard. Each class was invited on stage and received this award from their class leadership team in recognition of their performance as a community. It is a wonderful tradition which we and the children love very much.
There is also another great tradition in the team on the last day of school. We all come together in the staff area to celebrate the end of school year. After our leaders give a short speech, we take the time to look back at the previous school year and look forward to the summer holidays and everything that comes in the future.

The school year 2018/19 is over now and the farewells of the children and colleagues who are leaving us was incredibly difficult for everyone. We will miss them very much and wish them all the best for the future.

But now we all have a wonderful and relaxing summer holiday. Let’s enjoy it and look forward to the new school year 2019/20!
